How to germinate seeds from paper towels + is it a good idea?
I’ve been growing vegetables outdoors in England, but without much success, as the seeds were not germinating well. I heard from a friend that her daughter had been germinating seeds in paper towels scuola.È a good idea for me to germinate seeds paper towels then put them back into the soil and how do you do this, and what conditions are necessary and there is no other ways of seeds to germinate? And last thing that can be any plant germinated this way of method? Thank you!
Are Paper Pellets okay for bird bedding/litter?
I hate how paper towels and newspaper looks, so I was wondering if Yesterday’s News paper litter pellets (they make them for small animals and cats) are okay for birds. If not, I have been using eco-bedding which I guess I will stick with since it looks nicer than newspapers or bags or a sheet of brown paper. It is okay right? I would just prefer pelleted paper but don’t know if there is a reason no one carries ones for birds.
Mold in your birdbaths
In hot humid weather, green mold can easily form in the bottoms of your birdbaths. You should monitor birdbaths frequently for green mold and clean them immediately. I recommend using Clorox Cleanup and paper towels. Be sure to rinse out the birdbaths thoroughly with fresh water before you refill them.
